These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TagMyKid mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By registering for, accessing, or using TagMyKid, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
TagMyKid provides a digital tagging and identification system designed to help reunite lost items (and in limited contexts, children) with their registered parent or guardian by means of QR codes and secure contact notifications.
TagMyKid is not a real-time tracking service, surveillance tool, or emergency response system.
3.1 You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Service.
3.2 You confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of any Child you register, or that you have lawful authority to do so.
3.3 You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account details up to date.
3.4 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity conducted under your account.
4.1 Each Child is assigned one permanent Tag / QR code. While associated details (such as grade or class) may change, the Tag itself remains constant.
4.2 Tags remain the intellectual property of TagMyKid and are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only.

5.2 Contact between the finder and the parent is facilitated through TagMyKid's notification system. Direct access to personal contact details is restricted where reasonably possible.

6.2 Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis unless cancelled.

7.3 We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to safeguard your information, but no system is completely secure.

11.3 TagMyKid is not responsible for actions or omissions of third parties who scan or interact with a Tag.
12.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, TagMyKid shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages.
12.2 Our total liability arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you in subscription fees during the preceding 12 months.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.
